- A vehicle, or two (this part is very important)
- Oil pan (conveniently borrowed from the cousin next door)
- New oil & oil filter (the filter is there, I promise)
- A handy new socket wrench set
- Time to waste
- A camera
- And a wife who likes the way you look in coveralls (obviously, this does not apply to the oil-changing ladies out there)
