Our First Place

Our little basement apartment is nothing special. But it's ours and we have a few nice things - mostly due to the generosity of others. And we're having a lot of un playing house, so we wanted to share our "home" with you. It's our first place, so it's special to us. Welcome!


So you walk in the door, and the kitchen is directly to your right.




This is the window ledge above the table...with our "B" wineglasses and our sparkling cider bottle from our wedding.




This is the window ledge above the sink. We have the lemonade recipe from Grandma Hatch, the candies from Grandma Hatch, a kitchen timer from Grandma Hatch, and the jar full of kisses that I won for Ammon at my Bridal Shower in Colorado.






And this is the material for the curtains in the kitchen/living room. Grandma Breakall made all of our curtains for us, and she did a wonderful job. We love them!

The picture of the lighthouse was a gift from Brelynn's best friend in high school - Elizabeth. She gave it to her in high school. The curtains were made from the tablecloths at our wedding.

The bed and the bedspread a gift from Grandma and Grandpa Lords. (Chirstmas lights just went up recently, but we kinda like them).

The sign above our bed, "Count your blessings" - always a good reminder.
