Halloween the Newlywed Way

Well, we talked about Halloween all month. Actually, we talked about Halloween pretty much since we got married. But as it turns out, Halloween is not so grand when it lands on a Sunday, you've got no where to go but to work on the Saturday before, and you've got no family within a 100 mile radius. So alas, we didn't do much.

Still, we DID do some things in hopes of keeping the spirit of Halloween alive.

We carved some pumpkins,

we ate more mini candy bars than should be acceptable for twenty people, let alone two,

...and we contemplated dressing up.

...but some things are better left to other people, or places, or times.

Maybe next year we'll do Halloween the right way. Maybe next year...
